General Information
Dangerous goods, also
referred to as "HAZMAT", are described as articles
or substances that are capable of posing a significant risk to
health, safety or property when transported by air. Most
dangerous goods can be safely transported by air if they are in
approved quantities and properly packaged and handled. Our
acceptance of dangerous goods is in accordance with the IATA
Dangerous Goods Regulations and all applicable domestic and
international rules and regulations.
It is a violation of law to tender cargo containing dangerous
goods that have not been properly declared, identified,
packaged, marked, labeled, or documented to any airline. Failure
to properly identify and tender a dangerous goods shipment can
result in United States Department of Transportation maximum
penalties of up to five years in prison and fines of $250,000
USD or more.
